The 2024 Golden Pin Design Award and Golden Pin Concept Design Award have brought together nearly 3,000 outstanding entries from 21 regions, including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, New Zealand, Poland, Lithuania, the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Italy, and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
This year, Yu Ching Plastics Co., Ltd. is honored to have its entry, the "Easily Stackable Marine Waste Multi-Purpose Box", shortlisted in the preliminary selection. Being among the 1,203 entries advancing to the secondary selection is a significant recognition—after all, being shortlisted is an achievement in itself.
In response to the principles of the circular economy and responsible production aimed at reducing carbon emissions, the "Easily Stackable Marine Waste Versatile Box" is designed using recycled fishing nets and post-consumer recycled materials. By incorporating concepts like "single material, easy disassembly" into design and infusing the product with marine imagery, we have created a product imbued with the spirit of ocean sustainability. This showcases Taiwan's sustainable innovation and design skill to the international market.
